CAM UnZip 5.0

CAM UnZip is a simple tool that lets you easily extract files from ZIP archives, add files to existing ZIP archives, or even create new ZIP archives. It offers a really easy and fast manner of dealing with ZIP archives.

Simplicity and effectiveness are its main advantages. It comes with a very simple, intuitive and straightforward interface that can be used with ease even by complete beginners. Though there are no step-by-step wizards, the interface is self-explanatory and poses no problems. There’s also a simple yet handy help file. The easy-to-use interface ensures that all archive management processes which you perform using this tool will be completed in a really short time and with a minimum amount of effort. Unfortunately, the application cannot be minimized to the tray area, it doesn't support integration with Windows’ right-click context menu, and the interface cannot be customized and looks rather dull and outdated. As you can see, though at first it looks like a nice archiving tool, CAM UnZip has plenty of downsides. The free version also doesn’t allow creating self-extracting archives. Another important flaw is, in my opinion, the fact that it supports only ZIP files. Other archive formats, like RAR or 7Z are not supported. In all honesty, I can’t find a good reason why I should choose this tool over other archive managers.
